Performances

The Sonas Quartet have performed on many occasions, including recitals of quartet works by Schubert, Borodin, Beethoven, Haydn and Dvorak, as well as collaborating with clarinettists to perform Mozart quintets, and harpists to perform Debussy.

They have performed in competitions and master classes, taking on board expert advise from many other musicians.

Their work with contemporary composers is important, helping to educate thriving composers to understand the string quartet’s true colours.

The quartet has conducted music workshops in schools and hospitals, bringing music to all ages and musical abilities.

The Sonas Quartet regularly perform on board luxury cruise liners, as the resident classical group, performing a variety of programs, including works by Beethoven, Dvorak, Mozart and Ravel. They have sailed all over the world, stopping off in Spain, Sicily, Egypt, Libya, Malta, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Germany, Greenland, Canada and USA.
